As credit card companies clamp down on high-risk sites, online porn sites are turning to "dialers", programs which divert the user's Internet connection through a suitably-bribed^H^H^H^H^H^Hfriendly foreign telco, that splits the charges with the site. Thus hapless porn-surfers are being slugged with astronomical phone bills and no way to do anything about it. (Nobody reads the fine print on those multi-page click-through agreements, right?)
