The Null Device

A less often heard side of the copyright wars is the issue of sites that (illegally) offer abandoned software, such as out-of-print games for obsolete computers. Some companies aggressively prosecute these sites; a few enlightened firms, though, make their 8-bit back-catalogue available for download by emulator buffs.
