I happened to be in the vicinity of PolyEster Records today, and found the eponymous EP by local electronica outfit Down Town Brown (you may have heard their Kraftwerk-esque house track Quantum Funk on community radio or at shows). I picked it up for $12 (the 3RRR subscriber discount came in handy); it has four tracks (including the catchy abovementioned anthem, another track in a similar style and two more experimental pieces). The artwork looks a bit homemade, but that may be the point. In any case, the EP is self-published, and not the product of a huge megacorp; proof that it doesn't take hundreds of thousands of record label advances to create a decent record these days. Anyway, good luck to the lads; and if you see their EP in shops, you may want to give it a listen.
