The Null Device

This evening, I went to the Pinnacle café (formerly the Toucan Club) in North Fitzroy, and caught part of a DJ set by one Richelle Hunt (who does the Monday morning show on 3RRR, and plays a lot of chill-out electronica and the like). The set was a bit more uptempo than her Monday morning selections (though not happy-hardcore pill-popping uptempo), and had some good numbers in there (at one stage, she cued Deee-Lite's Groove Is In The Heart; I also noticed CDs by the likes of GusGus, Pnau and Downtown Brown on the console). She will be DJing there every Friday night; if you are partial to that kind of music, it may be worth keeping in mind.
