The Null Device

I just bought one of those Optus Pre-paid Internet account cards, for use when the network I usually use is munged. Officially they only support Windows and MacOS (the CD with the card contains a program which sets up the account), though if you (like me) use Linux, you can get tech support to do the setup for you and just connect to it as to any other PPP dialup. I'm posting it through the account now, and it seems to work quite well.
