The Null Device

I just heard on 3RRR that ARIA (the Australian equivalent of the RIAA) are cutting mechanical royalties on music sales/performance, citing the lifting on import restrictions as a reason for why they can't pay their artists the full 9% rate (and conveniently forgetting that the artists keep them in business).
