Fuck it's hot

From tomorrow's weather report:
Monday
A little rain early in the morning. Some rain developing again late in the day with the risk of a thunderstorm. Moderate north to northwesterly wind, freshening during the day.
Min 23 Max 31

"Risk of a thnuderstorm"? Hope of a thunderstorm, more like it.

I'm not sure whether your entry would be _more_ or _less_ amusing if it actually did say "thnuderstorm" in the quote rather than "thunderstorm"....

what are you, some kind of NYE grinch? I hope all the rooftop punters tomorrow night don't get struck by lightning. I'm one of them.

I like how the city of melbourne is trying to spread the festivities out this year. It'll still bottleneck like a bitch at Flinders St, like it did two years ago. I thought we were going to die. That might have been the acid talking, however (O_o)

It's no fun walking out the door and stepping into a blast furnace, or coming home soaked with sweat and finding that the cold tap only gives lukewarm water, or indeed the oppressive heat which remains in a flat for days after a cool change.

Though Flinders St. sounds evil on NYE. A few years ago I decided to not sit alone in my flat on NYE and caught a train to Flinders St., only to be in a throng of beer-soaked strangers and have someone try (inexpertly) to pick my pocket. Bah to that.
