This nixie tube clock looks pretty nifty. (Though I get the feeling that nixie tubes draw a lot of power and aren't exactly environmentally friendly.)

Nixie tubes use about as much power as their LED equivelants, and use Neon, an inert gas to generate light, rather than using Arsenic and similar like LEDs do. :-)
