Australian cities have relatively wide streets, compared to Europe anyway. Comes from having all that space to work with.
If cars get much wider, they could implement London-style one-way systems in the inner cities to accommodate the stream of Hummers.

A fool and his money...
Given that the kind of people who buy these are the same people who love to avoid public transport and drive to work in the CBD; do you think they'll find anywhere to park the thing in an Australian city? Maybe they'll have to provide those extra-wide parking spaces like they have in the US.
