if any of you have access to that seminal Book'o'Wierdness, "ReSearch 12:
Modern Primitives", there's a section in there by a rather odd person
calling himself ManWoman. he sees his mission in life to detoxify the evil
associations that the german socialists gave the swastika, and to this end
has tattooed hundreds of them all over his body. one of my favourite photos
in that section of the book is of the Edmonton Girl's Hockey team of 1921,
all of them with sweet, angelic faces, and huge swastikas on their
sweaters. :)
