Still, this "telecommunications breakthrough" stuff may be
linked to recent (real) experiments which send digital data
over common electrical lines, with the data using the AC as
a carrier wave. Successful implementation would allegedly
destroy the telecom business. Far from practical at this
point, but theoretically possible. "Theoretically possible"
being the classic kook hook, of course. Watch for more
kookery with regards to this (cough) emerging technology.
