>-- PRAYER SESSIONS --
>
> About two weeks ago I began writing emails about some of the
more interesting things I was witnessing the past 3-4 years and among
these recent topics is that of Prayer Sessions. The intent of this
writing is ask those of you who receive it to give me feedback on
anything you might know about the purposes, events, and aftermath of
what these events may be about.
>
> Beginning in 1992 -- I witnessed a lot of people around me
attending special meetings at which I was not invited. It was made
clear to me that these were special meetings -- some people gave them
names in fact -- and some people stated that they had special parts to
play in these meetings. And these meeting occurred during all sorts of
settings -- work environments, social environments, educational
environments, etc.
>
> Given the fact that it is possible that these special meetings
may have something to do with my personal background, family and
upbringing OR even job -- I want to separate out the possible personal
connections for the moment and concentrate on the actual events, what I
can personally document. Here I leave out people's last names.
>
> 1. Meetings at social events. In 1992-1994 I watched untold
numbers of people leave social events for unknown reasons. This
included at car meets which I was not a part of -- I witnessed many
people leaving these events for 2-3 hours at a time and this continued
for something like 6 car meets, 30 people at once repeatedly. After
these 6 car meets a man I was with confessed he played a very BIG part
in these meetings -- always and that he could NOT be late to them -- the
man was also involved in some other strange orgs I did not know about at
the time. Aside from the car meets I witnessed at country clubs people
leaving for
>extended period of time for no reasons -- 2-3 hours in fact.
>
> 2. I noticed highly unusual prayer sessions at a federal job.
The people there (some 30 or more) were gone for at least 2-3 hours
every single afternoon. Another supervisor in 1995, also questioned
these reported "prayer sessions" as clearly illegal on federal property
and she was not long after that ill, hospitalized in fact, and resigned
quickly -- while filing a complaint. At the same job reports some
employees were seen praying to small plastic idols on the back lawn of
the federal facility.
>
> 3. Meetings and sessions in local communities. It is apparent
that a great number of people are coming and going from particular homes
in local communities at night. The houses sporting these "events" are
usually lit up at the back of the homes -- with special floodlights in
their backyards. A great number of these floodlights are appearing
throughout local areas and have also been seen by others in Canada.
Suggestion: these may indicate homes in which these meetings or prayer
services are held.
>
> 4. Other friends of mine are reporting similar situations
occurring at their places of work -- this includes law firms and public
schools.
>
> A help here -- at the federal facility it was well known that
the so-called prayer sessions were related to some "New Age" religion or
cult of some sort. The administrator who lost her job after questioning
this stated that employees at that job had gotten INTO this cult around
the Berkeley area of California in the late 1980s.
>
> WHAT IS GOING ON?? Private replies are welcome. I remain
convinced that this behavior is not particularly normal and that either
people are seeking shelter from problems with life in general, enough to
want to belong to these new religions or are seeking some other sort of
relief...news stories are beginning about these sorts of situations...
