psychoceramics: Bombs and Usenet

I'm not entirely sure this counts as psychoceramics, but it's
certainly irrational.  In case you haven't heard:  17 year  old
Vermont kid gets bomb in the mail - he's killed, his mother's maimed.
Kid was reportedly given to being obnoxious on Usenet.

The FBI have arrested a fellow from Indiana, who had an online
dispute with the kid over a $25 deposit on a CB.

The interesting thing for me about all this is that you can
backtrack on DejaNews and see the history, the presumed killers
protestations of innocence, and finally the observations of the
group-members following the arrest

Is this a first?  Below, one of the alleged bomber's posts
prior to the explosion:
