This is a copyleft book, originally published in Istanbul, purporting
to contain the confessions of the British spy Hempher, who carries out
plans of inconceivable deviousness intended to undermine Islam (while
constantly confessing his admiration for that religion). His greatest
achievement is to catalyse the formation of the Wahhabi sect (which,
I gather, is the orthodoxy of present-day Saudi Arabia).
Again, perhaps this isn't exactly a psychoceramic text, unless
_The Protocols of the Elders of Zion_ also counts. But presumably
there are people who read and believe it, and *they* ought to be of
interest to anyone mapping "the fringes of reason".
