There will be a
new Douglas Adams book coming out. No, Adams
hasn't taken up L. Ron Hubbard-style posthumous authorship; the book will
consist of various unpublished works fished from his Mac, including email
essays, as well as the screenplay Adams wrote to the
Hitchhiker's Guide of
the Galaxy film, and his unfinished novel,
The Salmon of Doubt.
(Hopefully the publication of the screenplay may discourage Hollywood from
butchering the Hichhiker's Guide movie too much, now that Adams is no longer
around to contend with.)
