When I lived in San Francisco it was pretty common (especially in the Mission area) to run across guys selling stolen graphic novels, being a fan of and incredibly poor at the time I had to make the occasional purchase

One pound a book! Where can I find some light-fingered yoofs who will work so cheap! (Of course, being the middle of summer probably limits their earning capacity).
