psychoceramics: The Daily Show

On Comedy Central in the US is a satiric nightly "news" show called
_The Daily Show_ ("When news breaks, we fix it."). A. Whitney Brown
(whom some of you may know from _Saturday Night Live_) is their
designated whacko interviewer, and occasionally he turns up a live
one.

Tonight, he hit paydirt with an interview with a (apparently)
Christian "rabbi" (and dental technician) who has a picture of Shirley
Maclaine that cries. The rabbi is Jamaican, and is fond of using the
maximal number of words that will express his intentions in the
longest and most thorough way so as to sound educated, erudite,
sophisticated, and intelligent. (Three times he said to Whitney, "I
must concur and agree wholeheartedly" - in response to Whitney's
attempts at complete BS wordification at him.)

The best part is this: it all began when he wrote _Psychic Spy_. This
is the story of his work for MI-5, in which he played a crucial role
in the ending of World War II.

Merkins should look for this as a good candidate for Sunday night's
rerun at 11 p.m. EDT.
