psychoceramics: ne.*.sanitzed?

Back when Steve Boursy was new online, and hadn't yet discovered that
he could annoy the entire world, he spent his time annoying the
denizens of the ne hierarchy.  This brought numerous complaints
to Barry Shein, proprieter of World STD.  Barry stood his ground
and refused to throw Steve off, even when people began to switch
ISPs in protest.

Eventually, someone came up with the newsgroup ne.general.selected
(or as some refer to it, ne.general.sanitized), which is simply
ne.general minus Steve Boursy.

Eventually, even Barry broke down and threw Steve off World.  Steve
responded by saying it was all about rent control, of course, and
when called on it (I can do that because I was pro-rent control),
comes back with that-was-then-this-is-now. He's told the usual
outrageous lies about Barry/Cabal (TINC) plots, and he and Grubor are
doing the usual indiscriminate cross-posting into ne.*

So it's ironic that now it's Barry who is calling for either
(1) a UDP on Steve, or (2) each group in the entire ne.* hierarchy
to have a parallel "selected" group.

Some folks manage to get alt groups in their honor - Steve may be
the first to have an entire hierarchy.
