psychoceramics: Ancient Microchip Discovered!!

This needs a little background. Prof.Hui M. Xu of the University
of Central Oklahoma believes that he sees Shang dynasty writing
in ancient Olmec inscriptions. You can find his vociferous supporters
howling on sci.archaeology and sci.archaeology.mesoamerican.

On my web site I have a page with the world's smallest Mayan glyphs.
It shows a microchip-filled silicon wafer, one of the chips at actual
size, and scanning electron micrographs of the tiny glyphs embossed on
the chip. The text clearly identifies the objects as microchips.
A comment below thanks the anonymous donor of the pictures.

In fact, the chips were designed by my brother, Tom, a physicist with
an interest in Mayan hieroglyphics.

So, today I get this email (sender's name expunged for the
sake of mercy):
-------------------------------------------------------------------

>Dear N.A.F. Mcnelly,
>
>Hello, My name is XXXX and I am an associate of Professor Xu.
>I was interested in some information on the Halfmoon address in regards
>to the "High-Tech Hieroglyphs."
>
>I know that this may seem to be a strange question to ask, but is the
>Hieroglyph on the disk ancient technology, or present day technology?
>
>If you can give any more information about this, It would be much
>appreciated.
>
>Thank you,
>XXXX
>University of Central Oklahoma

Could it be that my brother is actually an ancient Mesoamerican,
and no one in the family bothered to tell me?
