Anyone else catch the documentary last night on A&E about the money pit on
Oak Island -- one of my favorite real mysteries? It was an enjoyable show
up until one of the "experts" straight-facedly supported the theory that
Sir Francis Bacon (!) had had buried on Oak Island the original manuscripts
which proved he wrote all of Shakespeare's plays (!!).
When they got to the theory that the Oak Island treasure was put there by
the Templars, it actually seemed rational by comparison.
