Definitions: 1.SAC:Consciousness Activating System 1a:Function of the SAC:the purpose of the SAC is to hypermetabolise memory zones in order to induce thought to "radiate"(rayonner)within MHV domains. 2.MHV:the "basic",fractal-like,intertwined elements of memory. MHV stands for the French "Motif Homologiquement Variant". MHVs are the fundamental "units" of Memory,in the same way that deoxynucleotides are the fundamental units of D.N.A. Nucleotides,though,are not fractal-like! MHVs are composed of sub-units or "slices". 3.MHV radiation(rayonnance motifielle):a metabolic process by which thought spreads within the fractal-like units of Memory called MHVs. 4.Consciousness:a phenomenon of resonance between MHV domains. This resonance is sustained by the SAC. 5.Illusion threshold:a metabolic threshold where pattern recognition between slices of MHVs is erroneous,giving rise to consciousness of non-exogenously real events,like in dream or schizophrenia. 6.Schizophrenia:a consciousness state characterised by erroneous pattern recognition and by erratic activity of the SAC. 7.MHV Memory:a discontinuous form of information storage operating within biological memory systems. 8.MCV Memory:a continuous form of information storage. MCV memory is,basically,though,an organisation of MHV Memory. MCV stands for the French "Motif Continument Variant". Etc,! If you want to know more about all this,please read the draft posted in bionet.neuroscience and sci.physics. However,you need to be proficient in both French and English as this draft is written in both languages! The work contained in this draft is basic to the study of consciousness and will,one day,be recognised as such! At least one neuroscientist has understood all the implications of this work because of some common approach to the study of conscious states(Don DeGracia). This work has been termed "colossal" by a MAPS scientist and,surely,it is! It took me 21 years. The science of consciouness started in Geneva,Switzerland,in 1976...with this work!!! The fastest this work will be repeated and recognised by other scientists,the fastest the science of consciousness will proceed. But I am not in control of the psychology of others! As Don said:"reasonable people" will understand the importance of this work. Unreasonable people? Well. They will do like for past advances seemingly coming out of nowhere:express the frustration of their ego.It is an old story!
