Thank goodness the UFO nuts haven't caught onto this (as far as I know!):

Gases emitted by comet Hale-Bopp are reported to contain organic materials
such as were essential to the origin of life on Earth.

That is, the comet is emitting the breath (those gasses) of life.

Therefore, it is not bringing Jesus or Elder Beings with or without flying
saucers to lift up the True Believers.

It is bringing God Himself.

Indeed, Hale-Bopp is not a comet at all.  It is the Heavenly Throne, on its
way, with the Grand Judge prepared to do His job.

In other words, God's a bopper.
