Apparently someone at the University of Nevada has had random number generators
producing 70 random numbers a minute for a while now, and he says that when the
OJ Simpson trial first went on the TV there was a huge increase in order in the
numbers generated. He reckons there was less chaos in the world because lots of
people were thinking about the same thing. Does anyone know how to determine the
quantity of order in a 'random' series, and whether there are other experiments
of this kind being done?
