Actually, New Trier High might be weird. I'm surprised
the author left out one of their weirdest graduates,
Laura Dann, who attempted, in a single day, to murder
a family by setting their house on fire, to poison a large
number of people by sending them cookies and fruit juice
laced with arsenic, and finally invaded an elementary
school where she would a couple of kids, killing one.
Fortunately, she only succeeded in killing one person - she'd
underestimated the lethal dose of arsenic, and the family in
the burning house escaped. She wound up taking a family
hostage, and finally shot herself.
I think that qualifies as weird.
